It’s been tough for WSSSM to be closed during the pandemic, especially during the ski season! We love welcoming visitors to the museum during this time of year. The wide eyes of kids who have never seen a rope tow or that young ski racer eyeing the World Cup Trophy or Olympic Gold Medal never gets old for us volunteers. The museum is located just a few yards over the line in Kittitas County, which remains in the Governor’s Covid Phase 1. For now, please enjoy our online collection and join us for one of our upcoming virtual Speaker Series. Or, if you’re in the Seattle Area…Dine at Canlis restaurant in the one of their awesome yurts and you can have a mini WSSSM experience. You’ll see photos from the museum collection and old equipment (like really old, not last year’s) in the Yurts. We have to make the best of this, don’t we! Take care, WSSSM friends. Stay strong. Stay safe. Enjoy the outdoors!
