WSSSM mourns the passing of our Co-Founder, Board Member, and regular volunteer, Dollie Armstrong. Dollie was a remarkable person – a woman of strong ideas, effort, and action. While her contributions to the museum were numerous, she will be especially remembered for her tenacity in creating the WSSSM exhibit on our state’s 39 Olympians. A celebration of Dollie’s life will be held Saturday May 4, 2019 at 5:00pm (doors open 3:30-7:30pm) Montlake Community Center 1618 E. Calhoun St., 98112. Read Dollie’s Seattle Times obituary here. Here is a much longer bio with some great pictures.
